17. James RAVENSCROFT. Born on March 11, 1816 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. James died in Pleasant Hill, Missouri on July 6, 1892; he was 76.

On December 19, 1844 when James was 28, he married Batavia BAILEY, in Harrison County, Kentucky. Born on May 10, 1824 in Mason County, Kentucky. Batavia died in Pleasant Hill, Missouri on May 2, 1872; she was 47.

They had the following children:
i. Matilda. Born on December 6, 1845. Matilda died in 1851; she was 5.
ii. Mary Louise. Born on December 20, 1847 in Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky. Mary Louise died in Perry, Oklahoma on December 12, 1904; she was 56.
On January 31, 1873 when Mary Louise was 25, she married Algernon Sidney GUM. Born on November 7, 1839. Algernon Sidney died in 1918; he was 78.
